Which option should I choose when installing the update at this link

I am thinking 'reinstall', but want to be sure.
Also, will my customized settings remain intact?

Sorry that's not more clear. You're correct: go with the "reinstall" option, and all of your customized settings and files should remain untouched. Let us know if you have any issues.
