I recently installed the latest version of Studio '13. the result is I can open quizzmaker on it's own, but nothing works any more from PowerPoint. I cannot get any articulate presenter, quizzmaker etc to run from Powerpoint.
Hi I had the same problem and the repair and reboot did not help me. I can open the Quizzes and Interactions window to either Create or Add but they aren't added to the Interaction Slides list.
Have you already added existing quizmaker or engage into this window and they disapear? Or are you unable to find them on your computer when you click the "add existing" button?
I just tried the res13 cleanup you linked and it did not work. :-(
In answer to your first question, yes they disappear. If I add new, I am able to create an interaction then Save and Return to Presenter. The new interaction is NOT in the list nor in the slideshow. The file for the interaction was created and able to be opened in Engage.
If I add from existing, I am able to navigate to files and select them. They briefly appear as (Slide 0) in the list but are not added to the slideshow. If you go back to the list the (Slide 0) is no longer listed.
I'm bummed because just last month I had to do the whole uninstall/reinstall Articulate and Microsoft Office and 1 update later everything is broken again.
Have you tried to do the repair of the office products as well again after the Presenter one? I also want to confirm you are using the latest Presenter update?
I just ran a repair to the office products and searched in settings for anything that could block it. I basically enabled all macros and ActiveX controls. Things still don't work. Sounds like I need to do the Office Uninstall/Reinstall option now right?
Why wouldn't you have asked the user what they did so you could add it to your knowledge base?

Hello Mac, and welcome to heroes!
You may want to start by preforming a repair of the Studio package.
Let us know if this does not help.
Thanks! That worked!
Thanks for the update Mac!
Glad it helped.

Hello Piper,

I have actually seen this reported one other time here, but it was a Microsoft setting that the user had adjusted.

Hello Piper!
You could post in the other thread that Leslie mentioned or even send the other member a private message to see what their resolution was.
You could also reach out to your IT team to see if they can figure out if there is an issue with the Microsoft settings.
