Articulate Studio 13 (with Quizmaker quiz) launch from SharePoint repository

Aug 16, 2018

Hi, I've created a super simple quiz and would like to make it accessible to our team without a lot of fuss.

I want to be able to save it and launch it from our team SharePoint site with a simple click of an icon.

1) I have several options on how to publish it - Web, Online, etc. and several options to share it (email, zip, etc.) Which is the best choice or combination of choices?

2) Once I publish the file; there is also a lot of content files included in the published material. Do I need all those files saved to the SharePoint repository or only 1 file and which file would be linkable\launch-able from SharePoint.

Thanks

Hi Eden!  All really great questions...

You should be able to host Articulate content in SharePoint Server. However, it won't work with SharePoint Online (the Microsoft Office 365 Hosted Edition), since it doesn't support HTML files.

Go ahead and publish for web.  And you're right - you'll need all of the output files intact to support playback of your content.

If you're using SharePoint Server, check with your SharePoint administrator for instructions on how to upload HTML content. Depending on your version of SharePoint, you may need to switch to "explorer view" before uploading content, or you may need to "check in" content after uploading it. Your administrator will know for sure.

Note:  If you need to track learners' progress and results, you'll need a learning management system (LMS). SharePoint isn't an LMS, so your best option is to choose a system that supports SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can API (xAPI) content.

Let us know how it goes!
