Articulate Studio Package Issues

Apr 10, 2013

We have been trying to update packages that were created by some contractors we worked with and now we are having nothing but problems trying to publish it.  Everything seemed to publish fine until we updated the quiz at the end from 100% to 80%.  Now, when we try to publish it, the publish crashes and it does nothing.  HELP!

Really sorry to hear about the trouble, Elizabeth.

You may want to try a quick repair of your software, as described here. It's also important to follow the general tips below:

1.  Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.

2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).

3.  Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

If the issue persists, we'd be happy to take a look at what might be going on. First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!

Actually, both my coworker and I are having the same issue and we both already did a "repair" on the software.  Also, we always work on our local drive, the directory path is less than 260 characters and there are no special characters or symbols in the file names.  I will upload the package to the support page.  Thank you.
