Articulate templates - cannot find them
Aug 12, 2011
Hi,
before I started working with Win7, my Articulate templates (Presenter, Engage, Quizmaker) were automatically stored to the Articulate Project folder.
Now, using Win7, I cannot find the templates anymore, although I have created some.
I have no administrator rights on my computer. But I had an administrator at my side when searching for the templates. He also tried hard to find them, but without success.
Does somebody know where they could be?
Thanks and regards, Florence

Try here! This is in Win 7 as well.
hi robert, thanks but I can't find it there!
we have also searched with the search functions, but......
ups, sorry, got the solution, but can't understand it!
I the template folder robert mentioned I clicked on the button compatibility files and then my templates appear! Can somebody explain that to me?
Hi Florence,
"Compatibility files" are actually a function of Vista and Windows 7. Instead of hunting for the files in the appdata folder, you can click on the Compatibility files link in Explorer to view the files. So, the files you're seeing here are actually located here:
C:\Users\your_name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Articulate\Presenter\templates
OK...where do Quizmaker Templates get stored in Win7?
Need to insttall a custom one, and cannot find where to put it!
Thanks
Bruce
If you have a .quiztemplate you can save it literally anywhere and just open it using the Quizmaker interface.
