Articulate will not preview or publish
Aug 07, 2015
My current project will not preview or publish. When I try to preview - nothing happens at all. When I try to publish, the publish function seems to work until the last few slides and them I get the error message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Studio 13 and rebooted twice. I have tried removing all the engage interactions and quizzes still will not publish. I tried publishing older projects and they publish fine. I checked my ribbon and the COM is active. Any ideas?
Thank you, Jennifer

Hi, Jennifer -- So sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing, and thank you for indicating that you have uninstalled/reinstalled Studio 13 and rebooted your machine twice. Some other troubleshooting steps we can run though include:
Please let me know if that helps, and you are welcome to attach your file here or a sample so that we can take a look if issues persist.
Thank you for the response. I have tried all of your suggestions. I am
sending you my package for you to take a look at please.
Thank you, Jennifer
Hi, Jennifer, and thanks for trying the troubleshooting steps I shared. Please also note that since you replied via email, your attachment/Articulate package did not appear here in the thread.
Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left corner of the reply box in the thread, and you can browse/upload the package from there. Thanks!
Hi - my package it too large to attach. Is there another way to send it to
you?
Hi, Jennifer -- You are welcome to use this form to submit your package, and then after review, I will contact you via email. If the package remains to large to load, please share a pared-down sample that illustrates the same behavior, if possible.
Hi, Jennifer -- Just wanted to let you know that I have received your Articulate package via our Support system (00623932), and I will perform some testing as soon as possible. You will be hearing from me with my findings via email shortly. :)
Christine,
I think I just identified my problem. There were double images of the slide
master on slide in Slide 42 and 47. I removed that and everything
published. Now I have a new problem. I started re inserting the
interactions and quizzes. Interaction are fine but I get this message every
time I try to insert a quiz. Any ideas?
Hi, Jennifer -- Thanks for the update, as I was just about to start testing your file. Could you please share a screenshot of the error message you are seeing here in the thread?
Please note: If you reply via email, attachments will not reflect here in the thread.
You can either use the ADD ATTACHMENT button down in the bottom left corner of the reply box in the thread to upload the image, or you can also use the "Insert an image" icon from the formatting toolbar at the top of the reply box. It should be the 2nd icon in from the right. Thank so much!
Here it is
Hi, Jennifer -- Sorry for any miscommunication, but as it looks like you replied via email, I still cannot see the error attachment image here in the thread.
If you click on the "View" button you see in your email rather than the "Reply" button, it will bring you into the thread. Then, you can follow the steps outlined in my last post to share the image.
I also replied to you from within your support case, and you should receive an email where you will be able to attach your file to a response there. Hope that helps!
Christine,
Another update. I reinstalled my Studio and just successfully re inserted
the quizzes. I think all is well now. Thank you for the help.
Jennifer
Delighted to hear it, Jennifer!
So, before I close the ticket, I wanted to confirm: you have now been able to successfully publish your project, and test it in the intended environment, and everything is functioning properly?
Successfully published yes. Have not viewed it on our lms yet, just through
the view presentation mode. Still waiting for a piece of information from
client. It will probably be a few days until we place it on the lms for Q &
A, but I think all the bugs are addressed.
Thanks, Jennifer
Fantastic, Jennifer! Thanks so much for the follow-up, and I will go ahead and mark your Support ticket "closed". :)
