Attachments tab won't open when published

Hello Articulate,

We have been successfully using Articuate Engage, Quizmaker and Publisher for several years.

All courses have attachments loaded and recently one course which has about 6 attachments displays the attachments tab but wont open. When the mouse cursor is hovered over the attachments tab, it changes to the small hand, but won’t open when clicked.

The attachments tab in all our other courses running in the same environment are working great.

What are we doing incorrectly?

I look forward to your response.

Regards - Mark

Hi Mark,

First, can you tell us if you're using Studio '09 or '13, please? I believe you're using '09 from what you described, but I just want to confirm.

How are you viewing the content when this happens?

Does the tab not work when previewing or does this only happen after publishing? Sounds like this is only happening after publishing - if this is the case, are you viewing the published content after it's been uploaded to your LMS or web server?

If this happens only after publishing and uploaded to your server, can you tell me which web browser you're using to view this, please?

Have you tested in other browsers?

Here are the download links for the most popular browsers, just in case you don't have them:

If you could share that information with me, I'd appreciate it!

Hello Christine,

Yes, we are using '09 and the function works fine in preview, but when published to the web the tab doesn't open.

We have successfully published this course before and the others we have work well when viewed in Internet Explorer.

The exists on several computers in the office, yet the other course are fine.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for getting back to me!

Are you able to share a link to the file? I'd be happy to take a look and see if I experience the same thing with a little browser test on my end.

If you don't want to share the link publicly, you're welcome to send me a private message with the information.
