Audio Editor Stop Playing Audio!

Aug 25, 2011

I have had this issue occur multiple times, and do not know what is causing it to keep happening.I will try my best to explain this as best I can.

In Presenter I open the audio editor to clip out audio segments for various slides. The editor successfully opens and I am able to make edits as needed. For some reason during these edits the player (randomly) will stop playing the audio. When the Play button is pushed the status at the bottom left corner says it is playing, but the red location bar on the audio does not move, thus nothing is playing. I have even tried selecting a small section of the audio and then try playing it, but still nothing. The only way I have found to remedy this is to Save & Close and come back into the Audio Editor.

How can I avoid this recurring problem?

Hi Nelinda,

If you are having issues with the Audio Editor in Presenter '09 (or the Timeline Audio Editor in Presenter 5), synchronization, animation timings, or annotations, this might be due to the non-English version of Windows you are using, and/or your regional settings.

To resolve these issues, please see the solution that corresponds with your version of Presenter.
