trying to add audio in '09. Appears to record 'noise' but not my voice - using PLantronics headset that works really well with Dragon and Captivate and skype.
are these other programmes causing a problem? Have win7.

have checked the 'follow these steps' - all seems OK.
have managed to get audio into both articulate/engage and powerpoint 2010 - which is some sort of progress - but quality is terrible - a lot of background noise.
sound quality is fine for Jing movies with audio, adobe captivate and skype.
