Audio not playing correctly in Mozilla Firefox
Sep 10, 2014
Hello,
I published a presentation and it works fine in Chrome and Internet Explorer, but the audio is not playing correctly when tested using Mozilla Firefox. The slides with interactions and quizzes play correctly, however on regular slides, you cannot hear the audio. The scroll bar moves forward for the timing of the narration and animations are correctly timed as if there's audio is playing, but nothing can be heard.
Any suggestion for ensuring audio can be heard on all slides using the Firefox browser would be greatly appreciated.
thank you!
Heidi

Hi Heidi and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Are you utilizing the latest update to Presenter '13, which is Update 3?
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package so that I can have a look?
I'm not sure if I'm utilizing the latest update - is there any easy way to see if I'm utilizing the latest update?
Also, I'm having trouble attaching my zip file of the presentation - any suggestions?
Hi Heidi!
You can check for the latest update via:
Articulate Tab > Help and Support > About Articulate Presenter
Perhaps your file is to large to share here in the forums. You can submit it privately here.
Thanks Leslie - I am using update 3 - I've submitted my file privately via the link you provided. thanks for your assistance.
Thanks for the update Heidi! Looks like I have received your case (00420745) and will correspond further with you there
I'm having the same issue. I am also using Articulate '13 (Update 5 1412.920). Can you post a solution?
Hi John! We were unable to see the issue that Heidi was reporting.
Can you please give us some more details of what your issue is and reach out to our support team as well :)
The material that's being produced from Articulate Presenter, when played on a Mac, using Firefox, there's no audio. Switching to chrome is an adequate work around but I'm more than willing to work with your team to find a resolution. With some many moving parts (Articulate, the LMS, iOS, Browsers) we're for a lot of troubleshooting.
Case submitted! (I think, it's my first case here)
Actually, it's not Articulate content...this specific content is coming from a 3rd-party vendor, so never mind.
Hi John!
Thanks for the update here and for updating support as well. Much appreciated :)
