The first piece of audio is recorded on slide that contains the interaction giving an introduction and instruction on how to use the feature etc. The interaction has a video with audio embedded, if the learners clicks on the video before the intro finishes it starts playing over the other audio.
I would definitely consider creating an introductory slide and adding the audio to that slide. Then you can have the Engage slide come in after that. The reason I would do that is simply because you can't control the audio that's included in the slide AND the Engage interaction at the same time.

Did you record or import the audio into the slide that contains the interaction or is the audio recorded directly in the interaction?
