Audio problem with slides

Sep 07, 2011

Hi All

I have a presentation that includes a sound file that I want to play across 13 slides. I have done this using the slide properties functionality from which i select the playlist

Slide 14 is a flash movie

At slide 13 the entire presentation comes to a dead halt. I can access the other slides  following it manually but it does not transition to the next slide by iteself.

I want the music to stop at slide 13, not the entire presentation of which there are 17 slides

Help!

Not sure how much this has to do with the audio at all.  There are two things that I would check.

First, how big is the movie?  If it is really big, it could simply be that the movie is trying to load and taking up all the resources at that point.

Second, to test it, copy slides 12-16 into a blank presentation for testing.  Make sure they are set up as the first presentation.  Do they work fine or does the presentation "stop" before the movie slide again?

Are you using flv or mp4?

Hi Brian

Thanks for the suggestion I tried that with the same results.  I suspect audio editor may be the culprit because there is a huge gap in the last two slides and no matter what I do it always reverts to the gap. Essentially the presentation plays till the audio is finished( It plays up tp the second last slide) and then does not transition to the last slide, an engage interaction with a movie
