Hello. I was just wondering if there was a way to autorun a presenter file from a Mac. I know users can just run the player.html file, but I was wondering if there was code I could put into the autorun text file that says something like, if Windows computer, run the .exe application; if Mac, run the .html file.
Articulate doesn't currently support a Mac auto-run file. However, if you'd like to see that feature added to a future release, please submit a feature request to us by using the link below:
Tammy, have you tired using the Mac server feature? It creates a website where you can have users just run the player.html by clicking a link. It would required the host Mac to be on when the file is accessed.
To explore it go to:
Systems Preferences > Sharing
Check "Web Sharing" you'll get a web site address.
Just copy the articulate files to your "Site" Folder which is located under your Home Folder > Sites.
