I have uploaded a 17 second mp4 video into power point with articulate.
When I preview the video a black screen runs for an extra 15 seconds or so making the total running time of my video 30 seconds, when it is only 17 seconds or so. Is there a minimum length that your video can be? The black screen does not play when the video is viewed normally.

How do you have your slide properties set? You can set them to advance by user to see if that helps.
Also, you may want to check out this thread for assistance. Did your slide have audio on it previously?
