Blank question slides

Mar 05, 2019

Hello Everyone,

I'll try my best to explain myself because I am curious if anyone has ever run into the same predicament that I am currently in and working with?  I have a client of my company's who has a course in our LMS system that is showing blank quiz slides to select individuals and not all.  (about 20 out of 3500+)

The course to my best knowledge was last published with Presenter 360 using Quizmaker 360 for the quiz slides, but the client is unsure what it was initially created from (Storyline 1, 2, 3).  My first question is, is there anything that we should be wary of if a course was initially created/drafted using either Storyline 2 or 3 and later opened and re-published in the Articulate 360 software?  Would there be a loss of functionality somewhere along the way relating to the quiz slides?

Since the individuals receiving this issue are scarce at best, I do not believe it is our LMS that is the issue otherwise everyone else should be affected.  Safe assumption?  Furthermore, my Team and I have been unsuccessful in reproducing this issue on our own within both SCORM Cloud and our LMS till this day.

The course itself does not allow individuals to move to forward to slides that have yet to be viewed and each slide must be viewed till the end of the timeline reaching a grand total of 2hours+ of time allocated.  (side-note: there are 8 total quizzes in this course and each quiz contains 5 questions. (1 T/F and 4 M/C) )

Final weird item: seems to be that just the T/F questions are the ones that are blanking out for users...

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out and describing what those users are experiencing.

It is hard to track down an issue when you are unable to replicate, so I'm sure it's been challenging.

Have you been able to identify a common environment among those users such as their Operating System or Browser Type? Have you confirmed that they are viewing in a supported environment as outlined in this documentation?

You mentioned that the course was published with Presenter 360 (not Storyline 360), but created in Storyline? Just wanted to verify that as well.

Hi Leslie,

Thank you for the follow-up.

I have not been able to find a common ground for this issue based on the information that the users have shared to our client and a handful of users have since become uncooperative with us due to this matter.  We have tested on various browsers but only on Windows-based machines (with no luck)and not MacOS-based just yet.

Also, thanks for the link to your system requirements it's extremely helpful.

Sorry, I think I got it all jumbled and messed in my head while I wrote this message.  Regarding the initial publication of this course, our client told me that they had a 3rd party vendor build and publish the course initially and they are unsure of what it was initially published and built within.  They are certain it was not Presenter 360 though since 360 was not a thing when the course was originally created.  The client has since taken the course files and re-published them in Presenter 360 though.  Does that help?

The course itself is a 200+ powerpoint with 8 quizzes spread throughout.  Initially, I sent in a ticket but I thought I'd take a chance with the community and see if anyone has seen this before :)
