Blurry Text - Smart Art

I have created a number of slides using SmartArt in PowerPoint with text on the image. When I ungroup the image to synch the varoius elements with the audio and then animate the elements it is blurry in the published version but looks fine on the ppt. I've been trying to figure this out all day with the various fixes I've come across in this forum but so far, nothing has done the trick. Need help desperately. Thanks!

When text is blurry that simply means that Presenter had to convert the object as a raster versus vector object. A rasterized object will be blurry compared to a vector object. A couple of things you could do, depending on the object:
Thank you...it works like magic
Justin,
I followed your instruction #1 listed above and replaced the object with the image. However, does that now mean I will not be able to add annimations to the image? Or, would I have to save the object as several separate images so that I can annimate them?
Hi Rosanna, welcome to Heroes!
After saving as an image and replacing the SmartArt, you can animate the new image in the same way as the SmartArt object. For example, the Picture Accent List SmartArt object has three columns that you can choose to animate in all at once. Once that object is saved as an image, all three columns can be animated in the same way. Is that what you're asking?
