bookmarking and flash videos

Our company does lots of training using WebEx. We'd like to be able to insert the recorded WebEx session into Articulate to make on-demand e-learning modules. I can do the conversion to make the .flv files, and get them inserted into Articulate.
Here's the problem: The videos are often LONG! So users need to be able to start the training, leave and come back to finish. But, the videos don't restart where the user left off. A user might watch 30 minutes of a 45 minute video. We don't want them to have to rewatch the first 30 minutes to finish the training.
How do I set it up so that their location in the video is bookmarked?

It's not possible to allow a user to resume mid-movie. My best suggestion would be to split the movie up into smaller clips onto separate slides, and then enable the prompt to resume feature.
Rats! I was afraid of that.
The problem is that these are recordings from live WebEx sessions. That means that they're practically impossible to split into smaller segments because they're live training session.
I know that this can be done using Captivate. But, I didn't want to have to try to recreate our custom look/feel in a different authoring tool.
