Ran into an issue where a ppt file was inadvertentlly deleted - cannot be recovered. However I still have the ppta file. Is there any way to "pull" the ppt content from the ppta file?
If the file still exists (doesn't sound like that's the case), but won't open, you might be able to recover it using the tips in the following article:

If the file is truly gone, and you have no backup file, you won't be able to restore it from the PPTA file.
