Can I add videos to slides?

Sep 18, 2014

I have presenter 2009 and Storyline, but prefer using Presenter due to its support for motion paths. However, I also need to embed video clips. I know in storyline (as well as in powerpoint) I can trim and crop videos and treat them as objects that can interact with other static powerpoint objects. And it seems like this might be possible in presenter based on some forums I read, but all I have on my ribbon is for flash movies. What am i doing wrong?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. Presenter '09 will allow you to use .swf, .flv, or .mp4 files in your course.

You can read more about adding videos here (yes, still used the Flash Movie button though).

In addition, we have released Storyline 2, which now has motion paths
