Can I publish without the play bar?

May 04, 2011

I need to be able to control navigation through hyperlinks/action buttons in PowerPoint. I there a way to publish without the play bar? I've used Adobe Presenter before and was able to modify the vconfig.xml file to accommodate. Is there a way to accomplish this with Articulate Presenter?

I just had to do this recently myself. This can be done through the Player Templates in PPT.

In the Layout tab, check the Slide only view, uncheck the other two.

If you preview you'll see that you still get an individual playbar button in the bottom right, but if you want to get rid of that too, you can go to the Player controls tab and uncheck Forward/back/pause controller.

Just be sure to save these changes to your template and that the correct one is selected when publishing.
