This may be a stupid question but i am going to ask anyway. Can i get my original articulate powerpoint presentation from the published content?
Basically what i usually do after creating a presentation is to create an articualte package from the share tab in powerpoint and backup the .zip file to an external drive. I was unable to do so cause I lost data, and i am now realizing that i do not have the orginal powerpoint on my machine. All I am getting is the .zip file articulate creates when you publish content for LMS (file path: C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Articulate Projects). All I am seeing inside the Zip if the different HTML/XML files needed for the source code to run properly.
Sorry to hear about your data loss. Unfortunately, it's not possible to extract your source PowerPoint file or associated project files from Articulate Presenter output. You must have the source project files in order to make changes to your published e-learning course or presentation.

Ok thanks for your feedback Ali. Hopefully I can find this on a team members computer.
