Can't Run on SharePoint?

Apr 16, 2016

My client is not able to get courses to run on SharePoint/Office OnLine since I upgraded to Studio '13. Saw a brief post about this being  MicroSoft's inability to play html files. Since the same SharePoint version plays player.html files just fine but won't play presentation.html, I'm a bit unsure of it being a MicroSoft problem. How can my client get these courses to launch?

Hi, Beth -- Thanks so much for reaching out, and while I have no experience with SharePoint personally, I did want to pass along these posts on the topic of SharePoint in case any of the information within is helpful to you. Or, perhaps others in the community will be able to share additional insights to assist you further.

Hi Beth,

I know a lot of users mention SharePoint in the forums and that there is a specific way that you need to upload and direct to the files. I'm not sure of the particulars, but you may want to review other threads such as this one (although Storyline specific a discussion on how to upload html file) and another one on the files created and what should be uploaded.

Hi Beth,

I know that those were Storyline, but I shared them as a reference for other ways users have handled this in regards the difficulty with uploading their content. I'd suggest reaching out to other users to see how they were able to handle it, as it's not something that our Support team can assist with specific to your LMS/server.
