Hello! I am new to Presenter and just working my way through it's functionality. Is there any way to get text to appear/ pop-up upon mousing/hovering over an icon?
Thanks for the warm welcome. This site is such a great resource! I had run across the demo that you posted above Peter....I don' t think it's quite what I am hoping for. I didn't want to launch Engage. Basically, I have a series of icon navigation buttons at the bottom of each page (170 pages total). The navigation buttons have hyperlinks to other pages within the lesson. It would be nice if the user could mouse over each icon to help them determine where they want to go next. There used to be a ToolTip in Powerpoint that allowed this functionity, but it doesn't exist in my new version.
At this point, I cannot purchase tooltip delux, and that looks like something great to get in the future. I am familar with the workaround in the scond article Peter posted above, I just have way too many of them to go that route. My document would end up over close to 1000 pages. So, I'm still looking around for a solution. I did see in Powerpoint how to add a Tooltip to a png that will show text when the picture is moused over. When I publish to Presenter though, it doesn't work. Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue between some Powerpoint tooltips and Presenter?

Yeah, unfortunately the PowerPoint ToolTip isn't supported in Presenter. Would the Snagit method work for your needs?

It certainly looks like Snagit would work. Okay, I have to show how "green" I am......how do I get Snagit?
Looks like you can download here:

Thanks! I'll see if this is something I can get permission to acquire.
