I am wondering if you can place audio on a shape so when it's clicked the audio plays? I know the simple answer is to make the slide locked and when the button is pushed it goes to a slide you can't see (branching). I am hoping there is another solution. Does anyone know by chance?
Hi Denise! Since PowerPoint triggers (including the sound kind) aren't supported in Articulate Presenter, the most straightforward approach would be to use a hyperlink & duplicate slide as you suggest. Here's a cool example that Articulate user Linda Lor posted awhile back. You could also look into a third-party solution such as the widget that Brian Houle, an Articulate user in the community, came up with... you can find it here.
You could also create a small flash animation that just had your button that would play the audio when clicked; unless you have a swf on the page already. Just make sure it's ActionScript 2.
