Cannot load SCORM - illegal character “.” fournd in the repository identifier

Jun 09, 2016

My colleague is trying to load two SCORM files to our LMS that I created and published in Presenter. Our LMS is and SAP LSO. She is getting error and cannot load the course - the error says "Caused by java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Found illegal character "." in repository identifier: /My_Learning:_Learner_OVerview_SCO.ide_My_Learning:_Learner_Overview_SCO.ide.

I didn't do anything different than I do with other courses when publishing with presenter, so I have no idea what this error means, or how to resolve. Can anyone assist? My colleague is telling me to "look at the manifest file and see if I can find the illegal character," but I have no clue how do that with Presenter. See image attached for screen shot of upload error.

Thanks!

Hi, Stephanie -- Looks like Phil has stopped in to assist you here! Please let us know if you are all set or if you find that you are still having difficulty, and we'll see what more we can do to assist. And you may also want to upload your course to the SCORM Cloud in addition to your LMS to be sure things are in order after making the adjustment Phil suggested.
