Yesterday I uploaded your Update 3 to my Articulate Studio 13,however since doing this I have neen unable to open or work in any presentations/courses and get an error message saying "Unexpected error; quitting". I have attached a picture of the error message I am getting. This happens on all courses I open and from all drives.
I have asked our IT department to look into this but they have no solution and thus suggested I try you.
Please could you assist with this. Many thanks Lin
I have loaded one of the files you suggest (one we already had so we did not need to load it) and restarted my computer.
This has made a difference in that the error message no longer appears and PowerPoint opens properly however it will not open current of new quizmaker or engage files and is spmily ignoring any attempt to open these (there are no warning messages). any further advice you can provide.

Hi Lin,
What happens if you open Engage or Quizmaker directly instead of through PowerPoint?

Hi,
It opens fine but when I am trying to alter an already designed course within powerpoint it just freezes and I cannot do anything. Thanks in antisipation of a reply. lin

Hi Lin,
Can you try the following to resolve the issue?
Install VSTO:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=43664
Install at least .NET Framework 4.0:

After installing the above, please restart your machine.
Let me know if you continue to have problems.

Hi Brian,
I am being able to open the Engage Pieces separately, but I get an error when I want to edit the Resources tab, for example.
And when I click any of the icons in the Articulate ribbon.
Should I uninstall everything and download it again?
Thanks in advance,
Brenda

Hi Lin!
Sorry that you continue to have difficulty. Have you tried a repair of your software to see if perhaps you had a bad install of the update?
