I was just handed a training project containing four modules that were created in Captivate 4.0 several years ago. They now want it updated. However, I use Articulate Presenter '09 with Powerpoint, Quizmaker '09, and Engage '09. Is there a way to convert these old Captivate modules (with 60+ slides each) to Articulate without having to re-create from scratch? I am unable to locate any original Powerpoint files so I think the old modules were actually created within the Captivate software.

There is no option to convert Captivate source materials into Articulate (neither Studio, nor Storyline).
As Michael mentioned, there is no way to update Captivate within any Articulate products, but you can embed it as described here.
I am running into the same question as Michael. Is this still the case with Articulate360? The only solution is to embed the files?
There is no update on this. You either have to redevelop Captivate-based content, or embed the published Captivate content.
