I have a prospect who wants to deploy a course off Web, (not an LMS), but wants a Certificate @ the end of the course.
I need some ideas on how to do this. Was thinking of a hidden slide in some way, or perhaps the best way is just to have a Web object on a final hidden slide - linked to a Generic Certificate held on their website.
Are you using Quizmaker or is this in Presenter? We recently had a discussion about using the "Print Results" option in quizmaker to achieve this. Hope this helps.
We had a swf built that was a hidden slide branching from a quiz, the certificate was hardwired into the swf, and we had a print button, we did not need any feedback on who had completed it
Thanks for the info everyone. Question concerning using the modified report.html page as the certificate. Any ideas on inserting a graphic on the page as a border? It looks great on screen, but won't print...
This really (IMHO) would have made a sensible feature to introduce since the produce was launched - rather than the effort in e.g. "Communicty Interactions".
Is there any way to add a certificate when using Presenter? I am developing an eLearning module using Presenter, Quizmaker, and Engage and need to figure out a way for the participants to receive a certificate. This will be launched online, not using LMS. Thoughts?
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. We're still working out some kinks with the transition to our new site. I'll let you know as soon as I can get you a redirect.
You're right, Liz. So sorry about that. I was just checking in on this and forgot the Demo link was the one with the issue. We're still working on it, and I promise to let you know as soon it's functioning.
Sorry for the long delay in getting this to you, Liz, but the demo link is back up again, and you can find it here. Thanks for your patience, and for bringing that to our attention.

Thanks.
It will be after Quizmaker, but (frankly), I did not understand the steps here.
May need to try and run through again to understand.
Thanks again.

Here's the original article that may make more sense to you.

Hi Bruce,
Here's another way to generate a certificate using Quizmaker:

Hi Patrick,
Can you post a screenshot of what the certificate looks like before you print it?
Hmmm, found out the "why" I inserted the image as the page background so it didn't print... Any ideas on how to layer an image under the code Brian?
Patrick
Hi Patrick,
You might want to take a look at print-specific stylesheets:

The thing is....it really shouldn't be this hard.

Hi Liz!
Have you had a chance to check out the ideas for certificates here and here?
Hi Peter,
I'm trying to access the first link (http://www.articulate.com/blog/web-object-php-to-generate-a-custom-certificate-of-completion/), however, I'm getting an error opening the page when I try and access the demo. Can you direct me to the updated page?
Thanks!
Liz

Hi again, Liz!
That link is all set now. Thanks for your patience
Hey Peter,
I can get to the main page http://www.articulate.com/blog/web-object-php-to-generate-a-custom-certificate-of-completion/, but when I click "The demo will go a long way in helping you understand..." I still get an error. I am trying to view the demo so I can see how Gabe did it. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong. Thanks!
