I changed the Powered by Articulate Logo at the bottom left of the screen with a custom logo (swf file) and it has reduced the html output size to about 75%.
I copied the new file logo.swf to the presenter directory and modified the playerproperties.xml file as advised in "Replace the Articulate logo in the player" technote and it does indeed change the logo. Unfortunately, the screen output is also reduced.
Thanks for getting back to me on this. The first image has our own corporate logo. It is about 75% smaller than the second image which has the default Articulate logo.
I too experienced the reduction in Presenter size when using a custom logo. However, I'm perplexed how to create a .swf file from an image using actionscript 2.0 as seems most tools are build for actionscript 3.0. I also have Snagit but only seems to output to as3 unless there are some settings I'm missing. Thanks.
I'm experiencing a similar problem. I have replaced the Articulate logo with my company's logo (used a .swf file that includes a link to the corporate web site). Although I have the player template set to "Scale presentation to fit browser window," when I use my logo, the player displays as if I've selected the option "Lock presentation at optimal size." I know that my customization is causing the problem because the course scales to fit the browser window when I *remove* the customization. In fact, the download bar displays in a larger size and then pops down to a smaller size as the course is loading, so I can tell that the setting is being applied and then disregarded for some reason.
I didn't create the .swf file, and I don't have Flash. The person who created the logo tells me that he followed Articulate's recommended best practices.
Is there any way for me to tell what Action Script is used without having Flash? I've attached the logo.

Not sure what you mean by "screen output is also reduced". size of the interface, size of the logo, size of the entire window?
If you can include screen shots of both, that would help.
Hi Dwayne:

Thanks again.

Hi Alexander,
Was the SWF that you used to replace the logo created using our recommended best practices (like ActionScript 2)?

Hello Brian.
I saved the swf in snagit. It is possible that snagit is using AS3.
I will trying saving the swf as AS2.
Thanks and Regards
Alex
Hello again Brian.
You were correct. When I saved the swf file with AS2 settings, the resize problem was solved.
Thanks again for your excellent assistance.
Alex.
Hi Alex,
Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue!
Hi Bryan,
Would you be able to briefly list the steps, assuming little prior knowledge when it comes to SWF, .xml, etc!
Thanks!
Jonathan
