Changing Shape colors

Mar 22, 2016

I am using a Tab Page to introduce new concepts. As the user clicks on each tab, they are taken to the page in which the new concept appears and then brought back to the "tab page" so they can select another tab to explore.

I have been asked to "grey out" the tabs that have already been selected - so the user does not click on the same tab twice. Does anyone know how (of if) this can be done?

Thanks!

I am using Articulate Presenter on a regular slide. Each tab is linked to a slide.   My SME asked that the tabs the user has already click on be greyed out when they return to the Tab Screen.  I have attached the screenshot. Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks for your thoughtful response!

Hi Lisa.

The only way I could see you being able to do that would be by creating multiple slides that had the different branching scenarios where the boxes would be different colors depending on the box you clicked.  So like if you click the box it takes you to a new slide that has the color changed. You would have to build enough slides to cover all of the different ways of clicking through. So if you had three boxes that would likely involve 9 slides to cover the different paths of clicking. Hope that helps!

Thanks Justin! That is what I ended up doing! There are 6 choices...so I had to make a lot of different slides.  (the people who clicked on tabs 1 & 3  have to return to a screen with tabs 1 & 3 greyed out.... And every possible combination....What a pain in the neck!!!  But that is why they pay me the big bucks! Thanks for giving me sanity check! I was afraid that there was a simple solution, but I just wasn't thinking of it!
