In preparation for the Adobe end of life for Flash fast approaching (2019/2020), what should we be doing now to ensure our courses are ready to just keep on rolling? What will be the impact on existing courses that were published in either Presenter 09 or 13?
If the courses are published as Flash, they won't work without Flash player. Thus, you'll need to republish those courses ideally in an updated version of Presenter 360 with the latest HTML5 support.
This could be an undertaking, especially if you don't have the source files.
Correct. As long as you have included HTML5 output, your courses should still playback in the supported browsers for your version of Presenter. For those Studio '09 courses keep in mind, HTML5 publishing was not an option and so those courses may not work.
Also, here's a bit more info on our plans for a Flash-free future. We'll keep that discussion updated as we have more information to share.
If you haven't yet done a trial, take a look at Articulate 360 here! Since you're using Presenter, keep in mind only one version can be installed at a time - but you can easily import a Presenter '13 course into Storyline 360 if you wanted to test out some of the new features and improvements we've made to the HTML5 output.

Just confirming - as long as we continue to publish all courses to include HTML5 we should be fairly safe.
Thank you
