I am not sure if I changed a setting somewhere or not but I need learners to be able to click on the next slide button and proceed forward. Currently, if I click on the next slide button, I get a pop up that states I can only go back. The only way to proceed is by clicking the play button on the bottom. How do I fix this?
It sounds like the navigation in your Player Templates was changed from Free to Restricted. To change this, use the method described in the link below:
Hi Christy - if you're getting the "Back Only" message, it sounds like your player template's navigation has been set to "Restricted." The course won't allow you to proceed until you've fully finished viewing the current slide. Here's how to change that:
Open your presentation in PowerPoint and on the Articulate menu, select Player Templates.
Click the Navigation tab.
On the selector labeled "User navigation is:" select "Free."
Once you make that change, you can republish your course (make sure that the correct player template is selected on the Publish window when you publish). In the republished course, you should be able to click forward without that pop-up coming up.
