Closed Caption is distorted

Hello,

I have been working with articulate 09 for awhile and just recently upgraded to 13.  My closed captions look distorted when I publish them, but fine in powerpoint.  What is the fix to make the published version appear crisp like it used to in 09?  I am including an image.  I have tried the following:

1) Viewing powerpoint in Notes Mode within Powerpoint and tried multiple fonts

2) Tried multiple publishing modes in articulate (some throw an error when you try to incresase the quality of video or images)

3) Compare settings to peers (they are ALSO having this issue

3) Pull my hair out..

Any help you could provide would be most helpful.
