We are uploading Studio 09 courses to our Taleo LMS. Many of our courses include urls to intranet sites and documents. When a user clicks on the links, the document or website appears. But...when the user closes out the doc or site, the entire elearning course closes. The user must then relaunch the course. We have enabled the "resume where you left off prompt", but the user still has to re-launch. We did not experience this problem when publishing to the web. Any ideas how to get these to open in a separate window in the LMS?
Hi, Iris -- Sorry for your troubles here! Have you tested your course in the SCORM Cloud to see how it behaves there, as SCORM Cloud is the industry standard for LMS testing?
Thanks for you response! Not sure I'm following you here...how would testing in SCORM Cloud help? When we test it in our LMS, and close a link, the course closes and the user has to press the re-launch course button and resume where they left off. We'd like for them just to close the pdf or the link and still be "in" the course.

Hi, Iris -- I was hoping you could test it in the SCORM Cloud, as that is the best way to see if the issue is with the course itself, or if there is an issue with the LMS service. If you see the same behavior while testing in the SCORM Cloud as you are seeing in your LMS, we would like to take a closer look at your file. If you do not see this behavior while testing in the SCORM Cloud, you may want to reach out to your LMS provider directly.
