Completion Tracking in Moodle

Hi,
I need some inputs from all users who use Articulate Presenter and Moodle.
When I publish a file in presenter, I can set the threshold to mark the chapter as complete.
Say we have 20 screens and the threshold is set as 12.
So when I enable new attempts in Moodle, the way I see the report is

cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,2,3,4,5,6|lastviewedslide=7|
status - incomplete
attempt - 1
-------------------------------
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,7,8,9,10,11, 12|lastviewedslide=13|
status - incomplete
attempt - 2
-------------------------------
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,13,14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20|lastviewedslide=17|
status - incomplete
attempt - 3
-------------------------------
Now, as an users, I have looked all 20 screens and learnt the lesson.
Still the chapter is being marked as incomplete, only because at any attempt , I have not completed the required threshold, which is 12 screens here.
Is there any way that I can consolidate the attempts and say that , the chapter is complete ?
I would be very grateful if someone can provide suggestion to resolve this.

No because you have started three attempts, if you have it set to resume and only used one attempt then this would have been marked as complete, you actually have three incomplete attempts, no way to add attempts together

So, if I set the new attempts OFF in moodle do you say I see the below update for the earlier example-
3rd attempt on the same chapter will say -
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20|lastviewedslide=20|
status - complete
attempt - 1

If you switch off force new attempt the user gets a choice if to start a new attempt or resume, then you need to ensure you have allowed resume in the presenter template

Yes, I have set these features - Switch off force new attempt and resume presentation.
So that means it should be ok now.
Any thing else you see which can create issues here?

I have one more concern which is some what linked to the attempts.
When I switch off force new attempt and resume presentation, then the way Moodle tracks the time is very strange -
Say, I have spent
---------------20 mins (Day - 1) ----------------
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,2,3,4,5,6|lastviewedslide=7|
time spent - 20 mins
---------------5 mins (Day - 2) ----------------
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, 12|lastviewedslide=13|
time spent - 5 mins
---------------17 mins (Day - 3) ----------------
cmi.suspend_data viewed=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, 12,13,14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20|lastviewedslide=17|
time spent - 17 mins
-------------------------------
It just overrides the time spent of a SCORM chapter instaed of adding (20+5+17) mins
Am I missing something in the moodle ? I am sure time tracking is a basic requirement for an e-learning, may be I am missing something. Would request your help.

I never look at time tracking, so had not noticed this, you may be better asking this question on the moodle forums.
TBH we only track completion not how long it took, because they have a separate assessment after completing the module
