I'm sure there is an easy way to do change a file from mp4 to flv file but not sure what program is best (and easy and cheap) to use. I'm working in Studio '13
From what I could tell Freemake Video Converter was the only one that would convert a mp4 TO a FLV file.
The video now works in a powerpoint slide when I publish in Articulate (which it didn't do when it was a mp4 file) BUT, I can not flop the video within powerpoint now (only could flop it as a mp4 file).
It is turning the video image horizontally. Don't know if this is possible. I have a fuse video that burns from right to left and wanted to flip it so it burns left to right.
Oh, OK. Seems I typically see it called "flipping", whether horizontal flipping or vertical flipping. Maybe a typo or autocorrect resulted in "flopping"?
Actually, there are many online apps can do the video conversion for you, such as zamzar, Acethinker Video Converter, mediaconverter, etc. They are totally free, and you don't have to download or install anything.

Hi Rebecca! I'm sure that others have their suggestions, but I know that Handbrake is a good one and is FREE
Rebecca,
I use and app called Any Video Converter. You can get it here - http://www.any-video-converter.com/download-avc-free.php Be aware that a .flv is going to be bigger in file size than an .mp4 file.

I use Freemake Video Converter. Just be careful to deselect the "addons" when you install.
Thank you! Very helpful!

What do you mean when you say, "flop the video within PowerPoint?" What is "flopping"?
