Copy and Paste from Audio Editor in Presenter

Oct 17, 2012

I have an audio file that I would like to copy and paste into Sound Forge as the .wav file has disappeared.  I have no idea why...  Is there a way I can do this as the copy function doesn't seem to do it.  Do I need to high light the audio portion I want and if so, how is that doe?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter!

From what I understand, you're trying to get a bit of audio from Presenter into another program. In order to do this, you'll need to export the audio as it's own file (.wav format, if preferred).

To create the file from the audio, try the following:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Go to Articulate > Audio Editor.
  3. Select the Articulate icon.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Select WAV or MP3

You should be able to save the file as a .wav file and open it in the Sound Forge program, or any other program.

I found this information here. There's also a video on the page that may provide additional information on the topic.

I hope this information helps!

Have a great day,

Christine
