Course not completing

It has been 18 months since we created a course in Studio and we are now receiving questions that when learners fast forward through slides using the slide bar they are being told that they have not completed the course. The course is set up so that they need to view all slides in order to complete. Could this be due to newer browsers? Or is there another problem that might be occurring?

Hi Jane,

When troubleshooting scoring or content hosted on an LMS, this blog post is the place to begin.  You also want to be certain that you are packaging your published content properly for your LMS.  Also, be certain that you have contacted the Support Team for your LMS, since they are best-equipped to tell you what may be happening and if there's a reporting issue that's already been brought to their attention.

If you wind up empty-handed after reviewing the links above, I would next recommend comparing the performance of your content at SCORM Cloud.  If you cannot reproduce the problem there, this is likely an LMS-specific issue, and you will want to generate debug logs and supply them to your LMS Provider for additional troubleshooting.

If you see the same behavior in SCORM Cloud, it may help to find out if there are any common threads for the users that are reporting this issue. Are they are using the same browser/version of the browser? Were they able to "skip" content before using the seekbar and receive credit?
