Course resume malfunction
Dec 05, 2011
I published a new course for our LMS (Scorm 1.2). I find in testing that, if I leave the course at any time after completing a particular quiz (the third in the course and slide 154), when I come back and choose to resume the course where I left off, it returns me to the middle of the that quiz. It is the largest course I've ever done (439 slides). Any suggestions? Thanks.

you may be hitting the limit of the scorm data that is being saved by your lms, most lms's allow you to increase this, so speak with your supplier, otherwise you may want to publih to scorm 2004 version 3 which has a higher limit
439 slides is a lot though can you split it in anyway?
Thanks! I will check with my supplier. I see scorm 2004 as an option under "publish." Is that the same as version 3?
Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way to split this course at this time. I'll talk with my boss about that option, though.
Thanks again!
Hi Marilyn when you select Scorm 2004 in the publish dialogue you get to choose the version number as well
Do I do that on the Reporting Options page? And did you mean 3rd edition? There's a drop-down edition option (2nd or 3rd), or I could change the 1.0 to 3.0 in the version box.
sorry, yes, On the drop down choose 3rd edeition
