Creating a Launch Page to Branch to English or French
Nov 03, 2011
I have created a series of e-tutorials in English and French. The tutorials are in separate folders. I published a Launch page, did a few edits so that now when the user clicks on the Launch (welcome) page it opens and waits for the learner to select one of two buttons: English or French. When the learner selects the language it routes to folder in the selected language an d launches a Player file with the Main Menu. From that point the learner selects from a list of tutorials. I hope I'm explaining this properly! This all worked fine yesterday but today when I launch the language selection page it automatically opens a window for both the English and French Main Menus. Of course I don't want this to happen.
Can anyone explain why it was working fine yesterday but today it's misbehaving?
Thanks,
Christina

Welcome to Heroes, Christina!
Is your menu just a web page or did you create it with Articulate?
I created it with Articulate then opened it in Notepad and made changes to it. I created separate buttons for each language which onclick go to different folders to launch presentations in either English or French.
Hey Christina,
Are you able to share a link to it, rather than a picture, here in the forum? If not, you can private message me or submit a case so that I can take a closer look.
It could be something as simple as disabled pop-up blockers, but I can't say for sure without seeing it.
Indeed, it's probably something very simple! I submitted a case with the link. Your "disabled pop-up blocker" diagnosis sounds probably but not sure where to apply the remedy!
Thanks, Christina! We've received the case and should have some help for you soon.
