Publishing time will vary from machine to machine depending upon your system setup. For example, you'll want to make sure that all of your source files are located on a local hard drive instead of a network drive. Then, you'll want to make sure that your system is optimized (defrag the hard drive, remove temporary files). Finally, you'll want to make sure that you have enough resources on your machine to handle the publishing process by closing unused programs. I'd recommend increasing your RAM if your system will allow it. That'll make a dramatic difference on the speed of your machine.

It depends on the slides how much media is used in that files too.. if we use video, audio, and swf etc usually it takes.
