Does it make a big difference in total file size, whether you use one large audio file or many small audio files. Our audience often has slower bandwidth and we're always looking for ways to make the files smaller.
We're wondering if uploading one large file and breaking it up using Audio Editor would be better than uploading a bunch of small files.
It won't matter if it's one file edited, cut-up in Audio Editor or if you edit the files externally in a program like Audacity.
What will matter is the Publish Quality settings you use. They're set to Web by default (24kbps) but you can modify those and use higher settings. Since you indicated you're looking to keep file sizes down, your best quality-size setting is the default Web setting.

I like to keep the files as small as possible.
Hey thanks for your advice Chris.
Can you say a little more around "why" you like to keep them smaller? Does that affect the final output?
Thanks
