I'm creating a course for a segment of our company's population who cannot access our internal SharePoint links, but they need to read a policy which is on a word document in the internal SharePoint - is there a way I can embed a word document in my course with Presenter?
Thanks but I don't think that will work because the learner's for this particular course can't access the site where the docs are located... I was hoping to be able to insert a stand alone Word doc somehow into the presentation...
Thanks for clarifying - if you were looking to embed (I took that to mean having it appear on the page) using the web object would be the best option. If you have the standalone documents what about adding them to the resources tab so that they could open and download?
I have a similar question. How do I copy/paste a word table into an interaction page on one of the tabs. Is that possible? Do I save the table to transfer it? I cannot place in resourses.
It looks like you may have responded via email, and as such your images or attachments aren't posted here. You'll want to visit this forum thread and upload any attachments using the "add attachment" button or the "Insert image" button in the top of the reply window.
Using the built in save functionality of word - I'm not sure there is an option. What I have done in the past is take a screen capture of it, as that will create an image or look at copying/pasting the table into a Powerpoint slide for example and using the "Paste as special -> Paste as picture" option.
Hope that helps - or perhaps others in the community have more advanced methods to make it into an image!
Saving a Word document as a PDF is probably a good idea if you are going to link to it from Resources - that way it will open inside the person's web browser. Most newer versions of Word can save as PDF.

Hi Stephanie,
I'm not sure how it's hosted/accessible from your sharepoint site - but what about linking it as a web object as shown here?

Hi Michelle,
Have you looked at saving the table as an image and inserting that into a page?
