Embed SWF in slide
Jul 01, 2011
I have a client who gave me a powerpoint that has a couple slides with embedded SWFs (some small animations). The client didn't provide me with the SWF files, however, they still play in the presentation. When I go to export in powerpoint, the SWF files don't show up on the slide. Do I need the external asset in order for this to work or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Ron
if it is a pptx file you may be able to change the file extension to .zip and then open the package and remove the swf from there

neat trick, but no I extracted the contest and could not locate any SWF files in there.
Hi Ronnie,
Were the SWF files originally embedded using Articulate Presenter or just using the regular PowerPoint method?
just the normal powerpoint method. I doubt my client has presenter
I havent tried this, but it should work, save the presentation as a webpage and then extract the swf from there
