I have embedded a sound file and if I open the Sound Editor I hear the recording. But when I preview or publish the slide, I get no sound. I'm wondering whether I must indicate that the sound is to play as soon as the slide is displayed. If that is correct, can someone direct me to the place where I can specify that? Otherwise, any idea why the sound is not playing and how to fix it?
I cannot see the image or the file that you shared here as it looks like you are replying via e-mail.
Your email signature did come through. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
So, be sure to click 'View' in your e-mail vs 'Reply' to jump directly into the forums and you can attach your file via the 'Add Attachment' option in the bottom left of the reply window.

Hi Jeney,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you're working on.
Sounds like that audio is giving you a bit of trouble.
Curious if you added it via the Presenter Tab as this documentation indicates?
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to take a look?
I imported the sound using the Articulate box below. I will make a package and send it to you.

It looks like the problem is with my headset connection. I tried plugging in earbuds and could hear everything. So I'm all set!!
Thanks very much for your prompt offer of support. You guys are the best!
Thank you for your assistance, Leslie.
Woo hoo! Glad it is working for you after all Jeney :) Thanks so much for popping back in with an update.
Interesting that your audio is not working consistently on your device though. Maybe check with IT on that one :)
