Engage inserted as swf re-sizing itself
Apr 13, 2012
Hi,
This course I am working on has about 9 engage interactions. To mix it up, I utilized a layout idea from Kevin Thorn's "Mission: Turfgrass" where the engage piece is near the top of the screen, and navigation to other engage pieces is at the bottom. This looks great and everything is working wonderfully... until we load it to the lms (learn.com).
Now, the first time we go through the course.... each of the engage pieces (including a video swf file as well) appears larger and positioned awkwardly. If I back out of the page where this occurs (using the navigation pane on the left side of the player) and return..... the engage piece appears is as it is supposed to be. This is true for EVERY engage or video file uploaded as a swf in this course: The first visit to the page is wonky, second visit is just fine.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you are using the slide only view, the issue is probably this:

The simplest workaround would be to use the No Sidebar view if that is the case.
It normally happens i you have resized the swf if you keep the swf the same size it doesnt happen, to be honest Justin's solution often does not work if you have resized the swf. It is just hit and miss if it is going to happen
