engbg.png turns green and opaque

Jun 08, 2012

While editing one of our courses for a teammate, for every slide that I 'Edit in Engage', the bottom of the slide turns green and opaque after I save. Any idea as to why? ...and how can I fix? What is changing color seems to be the engbg.png. It then blocks out the enga.png and the engb.png as well.

Attached is an image to demonstrate - top example after saving, bottom example before saving.

Thanks,

JB

Hi JB,

Strange. The first things I'd try, if you haven't already, would be to close and reopen the software, followed by rebooting the computer if that doesn't work. Also, you'll want to be sure you're working and saving from/to a local drive, rather than a network or USB drive. Hopefully one of those steps will clear things up, but let us know if not. Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me Peter, and yes - it's really wierd. I have done all the things you mentioned and nothing solves the problem. I looked at the .png in programs and it appears to be normal as well. I've even tried saving the .ppt as a different name and reopening - the issue still persists. I isolated the image to look at the image format - see attached - the Web tab of the image format might be a clue as to the behavior. I think I've tried other thing, but I'm stumped on this one.

It doesn't make sense, and as a long time user of Presenter, I've never seen this behavior before.

Thanks again,

JB
