Sorry to hear about the trouble - hopefully we'll be able to get you up and running with Studio '13.
First, please make sure that you've installed the 32-bit installation of Office. Currently, Articulate Studio '13 supports 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office, but not 64-bit versions. Here's more information: Supported Versions of Microsoft Office
Also, please make sure that you're working with local project files:
Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.
If that doesn't fix the problem, please try repairing Studio '13:
The exact same issue is back again two weeks later. "Articulate presenter 2013 has stopped working" pops up whenever the computer restarts and whenever PowerPoint is started. Once PowerPoint is open, whenever an Articulate function is accessed the error "ap6mn.exe has stopped working" pops up. I can't use Articulate at all. What else can I do to fix this?
I am running Windows 7 Professional SP1 on a Toshiba z830 and Kaspersky full disc encryption. Thanks, Brent.
The same process did not work this time, I take it. Curious that it's happening again, but hopefully we can figure out what's causing the issue.
First, can you confirm you're using the 32-bit installation of PowerPoint, please?
Also, do you have administrative rights on your machine? If you can, try launching Presenter (not PowerPoint) by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator".
Also, please try the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article:
Thank you very much for getting back to me and for confirming your installation of Office.
Does the error have an option to display additional details? If so, are you able to copy and paste those here, or provide a screenshot?
Generally, with that error, the erratic behavior fix will resolve the problem. If it's not, however, we'll need to look a little deeper into the details of the error if they're available.
In the meantime, are you able to create a new profile on the machine? If so, it might help to try installing on a new profile.
Also, it may help to check for any Microsoft Updates as well, if you haven't already.
Hi Brent! Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting that you have already gone through. I would advise that you work directly with our support team as they would be able to go through error logs with you as well and help you reach resolution.
A colleague of mine faced this issue before and did not have much luck from the support team. What was eventually done was to Recreate the Windows Login Profile(Located in C:\Users) and issue resolved.
It been working fine and has been 6 months since the remedy was done.
Hello Karmz - Thanks for popping in to share your knowledge of the issue as well. This thread is a bit dated and that solution wouldn't be the first assumption, but comes after some of our more typical solutions shared above. Glad to hear that all has been working well. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Thanks!
I followed all the direction in this article:

including uninstalling and reinstalling Office and ensuring the correct .net framework was running.
This resolved the issue.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks for responding Christine.
I am using PowerPoint 2010 32 bit version, 14.0.4760.1000
When I run Articulate as administrator, I click "Open PowerPoint" and immediately get a popup saying "Articulate Presenter '13 has stopped working"
I tried the process in the article, but nothing is disabled in PowerPoint, either addins or com addins.
