Errors when opening player.html from zip file
May 26, 2011
Whenever I publish a presentation and save to zip and try to open player.html from the zip, I get these errors which shows up in the bottom left corner of the IE8 browser window as "Done" with a document and yellow exclamation point on it (see below for the error text I get when I double-click on that yellow ! icon). I get the same results if I upload it to the LMS and launch from there.
It was publishing fine yesterday, but I can't seem to figure out what settings I could have changed that caused these errors. So I've created a blank slide PPT with no audio, no quiz, just a plain slide. I then published that using SCORM 1.2 settings, Completed/Incomplete, and still get the same errors. Please Help!!

Hi,
If you are using winzip, you cannot open the player.html file directly from the zip file.
Just try extracting the contents of the zip file into a new folder and then click on Player.html.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Sayuj, unzipping did allow me to open Player.html.
Now my next problem...
I upload the content to Saba and I get this error when I preview the content and nothing shows up but a blank screen:

Hi Mari,
I am not at all familiar with Saba.
Anyways, which file did you try uploading now... your original project file or the one with plain slide?
I've tried uploading both the original file and the one with the plain slide and get the same error. I'm wondering if the issue is on the Articulate Presenter's publishing side. What does SCORMfunctions.js do?
Sorry Mari.. no idea on that...
Hi JR,
