Just fired up Presenter 13 for the first time and went to edit one of my slides. When I closed the edit process the slide sorter thumbnail view was replaced with a pink flower with "Your Caption Here".
I am unable to open this slide for further editing. The content is still there when I run Preview.
I cant work out what has happened or how to get the slide editable again.
Thanks for sharing the screen capture below. It looks to be an inserted Engage interaction, so one of the first things you'd want to check is that all your project files are saved locally to prevent an unusual behavior. Additionally, I'd suggest that you begin by conducting a repair of your Studio 13 software and if the repair doesn't solve the odd behavior, are you able to package your Presenter files and share with us here (or privately here)?
Thanks I see that your case came through and that Vevette was able to open up your file and edit the Engage interaction. Please feel free to let Vevette know if you're still having difficulty by replying to her email Support@articulate.com.
The slide can be edited but I am still stuck with that flower thumbnail. Every slide I open to edit loses it editable thumbnail and is replaced with the "Your Caption Here" thumbnail rendering the "slide sorter view" useless. This makes it extremely tedious to navigate.
I think I found the problem. I did not uninstall Studio 09 before installing Studio 13. When I went back and did this the converted thumbnails were editable and contained meaningful information about the slide. I am sorry about all the work I generated for you. Let me say that I am impressed with the fast and determined support your company has shown. This is really encouraging and has given me confidence in the Articulate team!
I am having this same issue. I have done multiple installs, reinstalls on different machines using Windows XP, 7, and 8. I submitted a ticket some months ago (Case #00380251) with no resolution. I was told that the condition has been replicated, but not addressed. Unfortunately, the product really cannot be used until this is resolved. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Further to my previous post I have added a screen capture below. If I keep trying to edit the slide powerpoint locks up.

Thanks Ashley,
I tried the reinstall but to no avail. I sent packaged files to the link.

Hi Steven and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I took a look at the case that you referenced.
Have you tried our latest update to see if it corrects your issue?
Studio '13 Update 2
I have...on WIndows 7, XP and 8...all with uninstalls of Articulate 09. Same results, I am afraid.
Thanks Steven - I have updated your support case with this information and you should be hearing from someone.
Thank you!
